Check out these two crazy drivers! :)

It’s Ollie and his friend, Chum! They love to get together 2x a week. Chummy’s mom watches Ollie so I can help out in the kids school and I get to watch Chum so his mom can help out in her kids classroom. It is wonderful. I love watching these two together. They are both turning 3 this month! Actually dear little Chum turns 3 tomorrow!!! Yay Happy Birthday Chum. Ollie turns 3 on the 17th! I can’t believe it.

Ella’s tooth

October 7th, 2010 by Charity

Was just hanging like that for days. I so wanted to pull it out but she wanted to do it by herself. I love pulling out teeth but apparently Ella does too :). She also wanted to make sure she pulled it out at school so she could get a little tooth necklace to hold it in.

Here she is with it finally gone! If you look close you will see the tooth necklace around her neck! Now she wants to be the tooth fairy for Halloween. I’m hoping she will lose the other one soon. I love when the 2 front teeth are missing.

My how time flies!

I cannot believe I am a mother to a 3rd grader, 1st grader and 4-yr-old preschooler!

Calvie even rides a bus to school! He was pretty excited. Although after a couple of days of riding the bus Calvie came home upset because a boy tried pulling off his glasses. He said, “mom I just held onto my glasses so tight and I was so scared”. His glasses were all bent up! Can you believe it? I ended up calling the bus company and getting on the bus to talk to the bus driver and the child. I thought it would be an older kid but no it ended up being a kid in his class! Argh.

Ella was very excited to be in 1st grade! Monty was nervous but ended up having a good day! Ollie and I were able to spend some one on one time together. :)

Family Reunion

July 28th, 2010 by Charity

My grandparents wanted to get all their 54 great grandchildren together so why not on my grandpa’s 95th birthday? We had an awesome Family reunion. It was so fun to see everyone and especially all the little kids. Growing up I can remember playing at the restaurant with my cousins we would play red rover, tag and tons more we met there for holidays, special gatherings and on Saturdays. I have so many wonderful memories. What a great place to hold a family reunion. I only wish it could have been even longer so I could catch up with everyone. I just thought every family got together like ours and didn’t realize how special it really was until I was older. I am ever so grateful for my grandparents and all the special memories.

Check this out!

Isn’t that awesome it even made the newspaper! Here are some fun pics from our reunion.

Each family wore different colored shirts. Our family got blue. We are missing my brother Zach and his wife Kristi :( They were unable to make it due to Zach’s new job and his training. Argh.

Here’s Gma and Gpa with their grandchildren. We are missing 2. Zach and my cousin Johnny.

And here is all 54 great grandchildren! There will be 3 more added this year!

Here is the birthday boy with his cake!

We had a lot of awesome games, food and fun. The kids dug in woodchips to find money, there were 3 pinatas, parachute, bouncy house, mini golf, arts and crafts, raffle, bean bag toss and lots more!  My grandma had them put up a temporary fence for the kids and got awesome family friends to watch the kids 4 us! She made amazing food on Friday and ordered yummy chicken on Saturday. No one left hungry that is forsure. There was definitely a lot of work that went into the reunion and I thank all those who helped with it. Ohhhh Ohhh I almost forgot to mention we all were able to leave with a yearbook type thing that had pics of each family, addresses, #’s and info. It was absolutely amazing inside there was also a list of everyone’s bdays and anniversary’s. How great is that?

Now this is the way to camp!

June 3rd, 2010 by Charity

Over memorial weekend we decided to go camping. We had a blast and let me tell you it was so relaxing. We arrived to our destination and there was Todd’s parents camper all set up and ready for us! They came the day earlier to set it up. We were pleasantly surprised that they said they wanted to bring it up for us. They had all the bedding laid out, dishes, picnic table with table cloth on, a little folder with things to do around the area that Len had printed up and a beautiful vase of flowers for me! I mean seriously it was AWESOME.

So we did not have to set anything up. Oh they even had out all the lawn chairs for each one of us. We had so much fun and we were able to even talk my in-laws to come and spend a night there with us! It was Great.

We ended up going to check out the lake and the kids decided to take a little dip! They were so excited to go in with their clothes on they thought it was great.

We went to a great little ice cream shop in town. Yum! We also enjoyed watermelon Nana and Papa brought.

We also ended up going to see some waterfalls and climb some rocks. Todd and I were nervous wrecks watching the kids climb around. It sure brought back many memories of us kids climbing around the bad lands and my mom was practically crying because she was so nervous. I now can relate!

We also told “scary” stories around the campfire. The kids were hilarious. It was so fun to listen to their stories. Calvie would retell everyone’s story and he was so pleased with himself. Too cute. I do think Papa told the scariest one with his very creepy glowing eyes!

Anyway it was a wonderful camping trip. Thanks so much Nana and Papa for all your hard work. We greatly appreciated it.

You will be so happy I don’t have a picture!

Ok so here goes embarrassing moment 50000020 or something like that. So this year I joined an adult dance class it is through the same studio Ella goes to. We have our big recital this weekend and I am a bit nervous especially since it is at the Grand. Well tonight was our dress rehearsal, Ella kept complaining about her costume hurting her neck I told her to stop and that it was fine. After wearing mine for awhile I know what she means I also have the same type of top as she does and mine was really irritating me too. I undid hers because it had a little clasp thingy well mine is a halter top so I pulled it over my head and it came down and sat at my waist. We took a dinner break and just came running back into the grand to see what # we were on when they called my dance! Oh my goodness we were up I wasn’t ready! I didn’t have my shoes on nothing! I was super nervous so I ran down to our spot which was the 3rd row and I turned around to run up to the door to get to the stage first I looked at ALL the people. The bottom part of the grand was pretty full. Then I remembered I had to take my sweatshirt off (I am very self-conscious with it off) I turned toward all the people and pulled it off when my dear friend, Amy, gasped I realized I didn’t pull back up my costume. Here I was in just my bra which is very skimpy, to me anyway. Needless to say doing my dance on stage was NO BIG DEAL after that.

Look who’s riding a 2 wheel bike!

April 26th, 2010 by Charity

He is awesome at it. My friend April watched him today and this is what I came back to. He is sooo excited. He cracks me up because he looks way too little to ride a 2 wheel bike. He absolutely loves it.
